Since 1995, John McNamara has been practicing criminal law in Illinois and is well-known as a sharp, aggressive attorney with a long track record of success.

He began his career as a prosecutor with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Since leaving that office, he has been successfully defending clients in all types of criminal and traffic matters, at both the State and Federal levels.

John McNamara has been named to the Illinois Super Lawyers List, which names him as a “Rising Star.” He regularly defends people charged with a wide range of felonies and misdemeanors, including drug crimes, weapons offenses, violent crimes, theft and financial crimes.
